updated: Nov. 6, 2014
The 5th edition of my book, Caring for Patients From Different Cultures, will be available in December 2014!
I've posted a link to the culture tutorial I designed for medical students and residents. It can be used, however, by anyone interested in the intersection of culture and health. There are brief (3-15 minute) tutorials on Stereotypes vs. Generalizations; Dimensions of Culture; the 4 C's of Culture; Time Orientation; Removing Life Support; and Revealing a Fatal Diagnosis.
Two new workshop topics are available: Improving Patient Adherence and Cultural Issues in Oncology. See Workshops: Topics.
